Flying the Ultimate Bi-plane

The Ultimate Bi-Plane flew great the other day. Davis and I flew a couple tanks of Nitro out of it. It handles real nice and smooth. We found it’s best to come in on landing approach with a little power as the plane has a tendancy to stall and roll over at a faster speed than most aircraft. Off road race 7/17/10

Hello I’m Corey Gladish, Tyrone and I are going to start running races at RC fun again. The races are going to be on Saturday nights and will start at around 4pm.
Track is almost ready for running now thanks to Farmer and Scott.
Format will be: min of 3 for a class to run
1/8 Buggy
1/8 Truggy
Corr truck 2wd and 4wd separate – run what you brung
1/8 Buggy electric ( although i doubt there will be enough )
entry is 20$ per, and payout is 50% of entries minimum (will increase with more entries)
There will be 3 quals 5 mins a piece with A mains 20 mins. All other mains will be 7 mins.
Electrics will be 3, 5 min quals, and we will take a vote at the track to see what the mains will be.
We will be using best 2 out of 3 quals to determine mains.

RC Fun Hobbies is having The Mini Late Model Race Tuesday 6:30pm. Come on out and race with us. Entry fee is $15.00. We race every Tuesday night and it’s free to the public. If you’ve never been here we are located in Rehobeth, Al just south of Dothan at the corner of 203 and 109.

Dirt Oval Series 1 Race 7 (5/25/10)

Great Series at RC Fun Hobbies. This was the last race in the series, and guess who won the trophies? Yea you guessed it, Mr Troy Turner wins 1st place with 65 total points in the series, followed by Allen Corbin with 54 points, and Tim Feltman comes in 3rd with 51 points overall.  Also, Tim Feltman wins 1st place in race 7 which was the deciding factor that put him in the winners circle allowing him to win 3rd place in the series.

Mini Late Model Series 1 update

RC Fun Hobbies last race of the series Mini Late Model started out great until the rain came. We made it through the 2nd Qualifier before the weather forced us to retreat to shelter. Diaz wins the first heat and Troy turner wins the 2nd. We’ll finish up the race starting with the 3rd qualifier on May 25th at 6:30 pm. Come and watch the race with us at RC Fun Hobbies, Dothan.
