Anyone like Funnel Cakes? RC Fun Hobbies is having an Off Road race Saturday July 17 at 4:00 pm and we’ll be serving Funnel Cakes and burgers all day by T&T Foods of Rehobeth. This event is Free to the public. Fun For the whole family!!!

4TH of July Play Days at RC Fun Hobbies

Hey everyone come on out and join RC Fun Hobbies for a play day. The tracks are open and the flying field grass is cut. We got vending by T&T foods out of Rehobeth and the Rehobeth Band Boosters selling Fireworks. So come get some Corn dogs and Funnel Cakes. We will be open on Sunday the 4th so come on out and fly or drive your favorite RC all weekend long.

4TH of July Blast 2010

Come on out to RC Fun Hobbies For the 4th and support the Rehobeth Band Boosters selling Fireworks. T&T Foods (also from Rehobeth) will be on site cooking up some vittles for us Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. RC Fun Fun will be Open Sunday the 4th.  The Flying Field is open and we plan on doing some flying. If your son, daughter, or you have a Radio control vehicle bring them out and play on the tracks.  Enjoy Setting off some fireworks and model rockets.

Flying the Ultimate Bi-plane

The Ultimate Bi-Plane flew great the other day. Davis and I flew a couple tanks of Nitro out of it. It handles real nice and smooth. We found it’s best to come in on landing approach with a little power as the plane has a tendancy to stall and roll over at a faster speed than most aircraft. After some quick evasive action we powered up and made go around. For Model airplane lessons call us at 334-673-7223 ask for John. check out the video.

Flying Field Update

RC Fun Hobbies has been working on the flying field all weekend 5/10/2010. We now have the access road completed and the grass is starting to sprout through the dirt, about an 1/2″ tall now. WE plan to get started on the covered shed sometime in June 2010. For anyone that would like to fly there now you may if you don’t mind flying off smooth hard dirt. come on down to the store and we will get you signed up. here are a few pics of the flying field and new entrance, trailer friendly.

Flying Field Update

RC Fun Hobbies is making progress on the flying field. We managed to get the field prepped, packed and smoothed just before the rain. We spread out some grass seed, about 10 pounds. We’ll know if  we have a good stand of grass in about 3 weeks. We plan to work on the field access road soon so keep an eye out for new updates. Here is a few pics of the field.

Attention!! Transmitter Update in Rules

RC Fun Hobbies has made a change in the rules regarding the transmitter used in the Losi Mini Late model class. the only transmitter that can be used is the stock transmitter and stock receiver. The entry in the 1/18 Late model class rule was in errer and points or records will stand as they are.
