Dirt Oval Series 2 (8/3/10 thru 9/14/10)

RC Fun Hobbies has Scheduled the 2nd Series Dirt Oval Losi Mini Late Model spec (8/3/10 thru 9/14/10) winners of individual races receive prizes and Trophies awarded to top three with the highest points. Points will be awarded 10 points for the winner, 9 points for 2nd, and 8 points for 3rd, etc. 1 point will be awarded for each qualifier a racer wins. 1 point will be awarded for winning a B main. Entry fee $10.00. Good Luck and we’ll see you at the track.

Winners Dirt Oval 7/20/10

RC Fun Hobbies presents the winners of Mini Late Model Oval Class. Troy Turner wins the Late Model class Tuesday night after Allen Corbin who had been leading the race up until the last lap, pushed his car until it mechanically failed, allowing Troy to gain the lead. The youth class was dominated by Dylan Feltman who wins by a lap ahead of 2nd place Kyle Ayecock only after Dre Rod had had mechanical problems into the 3rd lap. Race Results.

RC Fun Hobbies presents the winners of Mini Late model class.

Tim Feltman takes home the win in the Mini Late Model class, but not before Allen Corbin who comes in second place breaks the all time track record of 6.3 sec lap time formerly held by Troy Turner, with a 6.2 sec lap. WOW! Folks that will be a hard lap to beat. Good Luck!!

Off road race 7/17/10

Hello I’m Corey Gladish, Tyrone and I are going to start running races at RC fun again. The races are going to be on Saturday nights and will start at around 4pm.
Track is almost ready for running now thanks to Farmer and Scott.
Format will be: min of 3 for a class to run
1/8 Buggy
1/8 Truggy
Corr truck 2wd and 4wd separate – run what you brung
1/8 Buggy electric ( although i doubt there will be enough )
entry is 20$ per, and payout is 50% of entries minimum (will increase with more entries)
There will be 3 quals 5 mins a piece with A mains 20 mins. All other mains will be 7 mins.
Electrics will be 3, 5 min quals, and we will take a vote at the track to see what the mains will be.
We will be using best 2 out of 3 quals to determine mains.
