Flying the Ultimate Bi-plane

Friday, June 18th, 2010

The Ultimate Bi-Plane flew great the other day. Davis and I flew a couple tanks of Nitro out of it. It handles real nice and smooth. We found it’s best to come in on landing approach with a little power as the plane has a tendancy to stall and roll over at a faster speed than most aircraft. After some quick evasive action we powered up and made go around. For Model airplane lessons call us at 334-673-7223 ask for John. check out the video.

Blade SR RTF Electric Micro Heli by E-flite

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

eflh1500-450RC Fun Hobbies presents the Blade SR

Key Features

  • Brushless main motor
  • A great 2nd heli for anyone who has flown a coaxial or single-rotor fixed-pitch heli
  • Softer control response around center for transitioning pilots
  • Includes 6-channel HP6DSM 2.4GHz DSM2™ transmitter
  • Includes DC Li-Po balancing charger with AC adapter
  • Includes 3S 11.1V 1000mAh Li-Po battery pack
  • Spektrum AR6100e Microlite Receiver, installed
  • E-flite G110 Heading Lock Gyro, installed
  • Direct drive tail motor
  • Sturdy, shock absorbent two-piece main frame
  • Full line of replacement and option parts available
  • 100% factory-assembled, test-flown and ready-to-fly

Overview

If you’re ready to step up from a coaxial or single-rotor fixed-pitch heli, the Blade® SR is the absolute best way to make that transition a successful one.

It comes out of the box programmed to provide softer climb, pitch and roll response around the center of stick movement. This, combined with the tough, two-piece main frame and lower head speed, makes the Blade SR more forgiving and easier to master than most conventional CP helis. Plus, it’s big enough to fly outdoors even if there’s a little wind.

Needed to Complete

Nothing—everything is included to get flying right out of the box.

We recommend beginners also purchase the Heli Training Gear (Item EFLH1527)

Overview

ParkZone is proud to present another legend in its lineup of Warbirds.  Along with the North American P-51, the Corsair is arguably the most popular fighter plane of World War II. The F4U Corsair, made famous for its ability to outclimb, outrun or outfight any enemy in its day, is an exciting addition to the ParkZone family. Referred to as “whistling death” by the Japanese in World War II, and the “Sweetheart of Okinawa” by American troops, the inverted gull wing allowed for the huge propeller to clear the deck with its short, stout landing gear. Designed as a carrier-based fighter, it was also the first Naval aircraft to have landing gear retract flush into the wing behind panels for improved aerodynamics, and it was the first fighter to exceed speeds of 400 mph. Its successful reputation and unique flying characteristics have earned the F4U Corsair its place in American military history!

ParkZone’s version of the Corsair features Spektrum’s DX5e radio technology, a 480 Brushless outrunner motor and Li-Po battery for ultimate control, exceptional performance and increased flight time. The fixed landing gear and steerable tail wheel allow for smooth takeoffs and landings. The attention to scale detail in this plane is amazing, from its historically representative 3-color trim scheme to the pilot figure inside the cockpit.

The Corsair delivers incredible looks and the immediate gratification ParkZone plane owners have grown to love, while its Spektrum DX5e radio technology and Z-Foam™ construction provide pilots with the durability and reliability they require in a park flyer.
